During the 1960's, using a Graflex camera, Jim "Flash" Miteff quintessentially captured with eloquent grit, a raw, unencumbered look within the heart and soul of the American Biker. Now, over four decades later, volumes of never before seen photographs are available thanks to the love, loyalty and dedication of a daughter who continues to bestow an insight inherited from a man whose vision was ahead of his time. Beverly (Miteff) Roberts & her husband Tom are owners/publishers of Flash Productions, LLC. Their dedication, love and loyalty to the preservation of our American Biker heritage is deserved of any and all that still hold firm with Old School values. Visiting their site is well worth your time as there are numerous avenues of experiences & information awaiting all, Biker or not. A FELLOWSHIP OF THE PEN ~ THE WIND ~THE ROAD
On January 13, 2012 - The Road Scribes of America: A Fellowship of the Pen, the Wind, and the Road was founded. Their mission is to ride and write together with a positive creative spirit, and through mutual support, with respect and loyalty towards each other, and the literary and/or artistic community at large, bringing the reader, the audience and the writer/artist together on a ride towards a new horizon on the literary landscape. While the Road Scribes of America are not exclusive to any one genre, or any medium of artistic expression, their devotion to Biker Poetry remains. Their purpose as a fellowship is to promote publication and support the writer/artist in what is often a solitary experience on the literary landscape. "I am extremely proud to be a co-founder of RSA and know, through our concerted effort, the Biker community shall always have a literary foil to offset those who continue to foster a negative image via a vehicle fueled by generalized stereotyping." _____________________________________________ _____________________________________________
